Maybe Monday - Volunteers at Hayes Mansion

Monday means volunteer for me, Annette and Sylvia.  Last Saturday, all the volunteers for the different centers were treated to a nice luncheon at the Hayes Mansion in appreciation for our work.  Here's what, where and who.

On the same day of this luncheon, I receive another Invitation for another Luncheon at the Fairmont Hotel (Imperial Ballroom) which is located in downtown San Jose.  It is the Annual Volunteer Recognition Luncheon sponsored by R.S.V.P. (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) which is part of the Department of Park and Rec, City of San Jose.  We have until May 12 to respond.  I checked out the menu and there are only two choices for their entree.  Chicken Scallopini or Wild Mushroom and Puff Pastry Crisp.  Even though it is a free lunch and I appreciate their generosity, but I don't think I would be going to have chicken for lunch or a puff pastry either.  I probably would get all excited if they send me a coupon for one round of golf at Sunken Garden or Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course which are both own by the City of San Jose.
