Maybe Monday - First Boxing Day Open House

You are invited to our Boxing Day
open house
(No actual boxing will be observed so don’t expect me and Luckie to “duke it out”,
and Manny Pacquiao isn’t fighting that day.)

This was part of the message that was sent out by my hubby to our friends.  His boss responded with the following:
According to Wikipidia, Pierre Henri La Salle invented the corrugated box in 1868 in order to ship Fresh puffins from Nova Scotia to Montreal. The president of Canada, who loved roasted stuffed puffin in a white wine beshumel sauce, declared this the greatest achievement of Canada and made it a National holiday!

Maybe the turn out won't be so great and we will be left with a lot of scrumptious appetizers or maybe everyone will show up and we will ran out of food to serve. Maybe some will drop by and stay longer and even take home some of the desserts.  If you can remember my post with all my menu, we have decided to change it up just a little bit.  So here's the final menu.

Singapore Noodles
Tandoori Chicken
Mini Chicken Pot Pie
Bacon wrapped water chestnut with spicy sauce
Dates filled with cheese wrapped in Prosciutto
Filipino Beef Empanada
Filipino Pork Lumpia
Lemon Bars
6 Layer Bars
Brownies
Chinese Chews
Date Nut Bread
Zucchini Bread
Chocolate Chips Cookies
Chocolate Cupcakes

For those of you going out to shop, I hope that you find some really great bargains.
For those who are taking the time enjoying your presents, have fun and share it.
For those who have decided to drop by our first open house, we hope you had a good time on our first Boxing Day Open House at the CPBB.
