It was time to harvest again some of the vegetables from Jeff's garden. Although this time it's just mixed greens, it was still good to use fresh pick leaves for our salads. Since Jeff was busy planting an assortment of vegetables for this season, I decided to do the harvesting. After picking the leaves, I washed them thoroughly, spin them and organize them by type in their own plastic bag. They will be ready to eat anytime we want to have some salad. All I need is to add some other vegetables like carrots, green pepper, dried cranberries and maybe some nuts. Having some fresh greens taste a lot better than store bought. I can't hardly wait until all the other vegetables grow.
