Today my friend LW is celebrating her special birthday. I am very lucky to have a friend like her. Last year before I moved to USA, we hang out a lot either playing tennis, golfing, going out to dinner or having spontaneous dinner at her home or mine. One day she mentioned that this year will be her Diva Year and she will be going on several vacation to celebrate this year. I am so honored to be able to spend time with her during some of the celebration vacation. The first time was a golf week in Phoenix with a total of 7 girls, 4 rounds of golf, 1 day shopping, 1 day tour of Sedona and of course 2 nights at the local casino. We all had a great time and what a way to celebrate birthdays and friendship. The second time was when I went back to visit Mississauga for a month. Like the first one, she organized a weekend in Niagara Falls, Ontario. We dined, gambled and golfed. This time there was only 4 girlfriends. Another great time. The third time was a couple weeks ago when I met them in Las Vegas. Even if my MIL was with me, we still manage to get together for drinks, dinner, a little gambling. Of course we had a great visit and another fun get together.
Happy birthday my friend Lulu, maybe you have many more DIVA years. I think every year should be a Diva year. When my special year comes, I will look forward to doing something similar to what you have done. Enjoy your day and thank you for letting me be part of your celebrations.
