During Easter weekend, we did not see anything interesting to watch and there were no shows recorded. It was Saturday night and while flipping through the many channels, Jeff decided to check out the history channel. The featured show was The Bible. As it was still part of the holy week, we thought it was fitting that we re learn what really happened then.
The rest of the episodes were recorded as it involved several shows. While we were watching Jeff and I would quiz each other who's who, try to recall the words being said, and what is about to happen. During commercials we would discuss some of the things that happened. There are some parts of the show that was a bit too painful and too violent for me. Do you remember seeing the movie Jesus Christ Superstar? I think I prefer that version because it was musical. There has been a lot of movies made about the life of Jesus and I believe the last one I remember was the Passion of Christ directed by Mel Gibson. It was reviewed by the critics as having extreme violence. Can you imagine if the people who commits crime now a days are dealt with the same way Jesus died? Would there be less crime committed?
Great post, love all the mini reviews and thanks for the honest opinions. I was thinking of getting Benefit's Stay don't stray, might get a sample now eyelastin.
