Do you recall last summer when I posted my little flower garden? Do you remember me complaining about the squirrel that ate all the flowers? Well this year, I told Jeff that I am not going to do anymore gardening. I am totally agreeing with my sister that I cannot have all the talents and I do not have the GREEN thumb like her. This year Jeff decided that he was going to try and grow some vegetables. I said to him that it's even more edible than the flowers. Not sure how he is going to protect his little garden from that nasty squirrel. For now he has the seeds planted in little containers and it's in our kitchen. When the weather gets better, those plants will be out there in the garden. I wish him luck and I hope those vegetables have a chance to grow and become something good to eat. He chose some peas, radish, peppers and lettuce. As you can see some did not grow at all, maybe because he bought those seeds at the Dollar store. LOL.
I read somewhere to sprinkle cayenne pepper around your plants and also to spray the leaves with a mixture of cayenne pepper and water. But I'm wondering if by doing this, it will alter the taste of your vegetables.
